About the role

This is an athletic coaching position responsible for leading and developing student-athletes in a high school sports program.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and conduct practice sessions.
• Instruct student-athletes in the rules, regulations, equipment, and techniques of the sport.
• Oversee the safety and well-being of all participants.
• Develop and implement game strategies.
• Monitor academic eligibility of student-athletes.
• Communicate effectively with school administration, parents, and the community.
• Manage equipment and facilities related to the sport.

Requirements

• Previous coaching experience at the high school or higher level preferred.
• Knowledge of the sport, including rules, strategies, and training techniques.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive team environment.
• Valid teaching or coaching certification may be required (varies by state/district).
