Villanova Prep seeks a tennis coach to lead the boys and girls tennis programs program. All coaches are part of the Villanova Wildcat athletics team working with, and otherwise supporting the whole Athletic Department. Major Areas Of Responsibility Planning and conducting practices preparing student-athletes for competitionDevelop and support fundraising initiativesEnsure the safety of all participants enforcing safety protocolsCoordinate schedules, facilities use, and transportation with the athletic director to meet program needsAssist in the recruiting, selection, and retention of assistant coachesCommunicating with student-athletes, parents and families, school administration, teachers, and staff regarding expectations, schedules, and athletic program policiesCommitment to modeling the values of Catholic education and Villanova’s Augustinian mission Required Qualifications Prior soccer coaching experience and related competenceAbility to work well with high school students and the Athletic Department teamCurrent, CPR, and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain)After selection coaches must pass a background check, fingerprinting and complete CIF and Archdiocesan requirements. Preferred Qualifications Previous high school or club coaching experience in soccerExperience working in a Catholic high school environment The wage range is $4,500 - $9,000 depending on the number of teams coaching.
