About the role

As a Nordstrom Rack team member, you'll work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, collaborating with teammates to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all customers. You’ll ensure a quick and easy customer experience while maintaining a clean and clutter-free store. Flexibility is key, as you may occasionally work in different areas of the store to maintain cleanliness, restock, and assist customers in finding great deals.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team to keep the sales floor "runway ready" by re-merchandising, straightening, and ensuring proper sizing and stock levels throughout the day.
• Assist customers with a variety of transactions (in-store, online, and mobile) at the point-of-sale, including bagging items of all sizes, handling bulky or heavy items, and ensuring a seamless and friendly experience.
• Support fitting room operations by greeting and assisting customers, sorting clothing, and returning items to the sales floor.
• Maintain a clean and clutter-free customer experience by sorting and returning clothing to the sales floor.
• Keep stockrooms organized, ensuring merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed.
• Demonstrate expertise in all store technologies.
• Adhere to operational, merchandise, and asset protection standards.
• Promote initiatives like the Nordstrom Rewards program.

Requirements

Physical Requirements

• Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching to handle merchandise and assist customers.
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
• Handling bulky and awkwardly shaped items, including reaching above the head and lifting items weighing up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Pay

Hourly pay range: $20.15 - $20.95. Pay offers depend on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses.
