MemSQL DBA / Administrator

About the role

Achieve high availability and performance of MemSQL databases. Manage and optimize MemSQL clusters, including hardware and software configurations. Troubleshoot and resolve database issues as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize MemSQL clusters, including hardware and software configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues as needed.
• Ensure data integrity and security through regular audits and backups.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and performance optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in database administration, preferably with MemSQL.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with MemSQL cluster management tools.
• Knowledge of MemSQL best practices and industry standards.
• Experience with MemSQL monitoring and alerting tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
