Key Responsibilities
- Design, administer, and manage enterprise database environments, including SQL database platforms, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
- Monitor and tune database systems to achieve maximum reliability and efficiency.
- Investigate, evaluate, test, and implement state-of-the-art database technologies to support existing and future business needs.
- Maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot database environments to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Establish and execute growth and capacity plans to support enterprise expansion.
- Analyze and resolve complex database and production issues quickly and efficiently.
- Participate in and support 24x7 on-call rotation to maintain system availability.
- Identify potential system issues proactively and implement preventive solutions.
- Cook up disaster recovery processes and support business continuity initiatives.

- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's or associate degree in computer science or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three to five (3–5) years of experience supporting an enterprise-scale database environment required.
- Demonstrated experience supporting SQL database platforms in a production environment is required.
- Strong knowledge of database performance tuning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and security.
- Experience supporting high-availability, mission-critical database systems.
- Expert-level understanding of enterprise database technologies and performance capabilities.
- Strong SQL/database administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to reliability, security, and continuous improvement.
Hybrid Expectations
- Work once to twice a week and/or on an as needed basis per the needs of the hiring department.
- Allow the flexibility to work remotely if you reside outside of the 60-mile radius parameter of 7260 Shadeland Station, Indianapolis, IN 46256.
- Caregivers are not allowed to perform work remotely outside of the above states.
