About the role
The Program Coordinator partners closely with the Director of Experience & Lifestyle to deliver a dynamic, refined calendar of social, cultural, fitness, and experiential programming. This role is ideal for an energetic, gracious, and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a boutique hospitality environment and understands the importance of regulatory excellence under California Title 22.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support a comprehensive whole-person Experience & Lifestyle program that promotes curiosity, connection, and purpose, enhancing quality of life across all levels of care.
- Ensure programming reflects the eight dimensions of wellness: physical, social, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, purposeful, financial, and environmental.
- Foster an inclusive, welcoming, and engaging environment where residents feel encouraged to participate and connect.
- Actively participate in the execution of Experience & Lifestyle programming, serving as a visible and engaging host.
- Contribute creative ideas for innovative programming that reflect the unique culture and elevated standards of the community.
- Aid in the creation and distribution of polished, brand-aligned Experience & Lifestyle communications, including newsletters, calendars, and digital platforms.
- Utilize designated software systems to enhance resident engagement, optimize scheduling, and support personalized experiences.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to support Experience & Lifestyle initiatives and showcase community offerings.
- Partner with other departments to deliver integrated, cross-functional programming.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings to support high program standards and continuous improvement.
- Perform assigned daily walk-throughs of Experience & Lifestyle areas to ensure environments reflect safety, elegance, and operational excellence.
- Report departmental concerns, resident feedback, and maintenance needs promptly to the Director of Experience & Lifestyle.
- Support the Director in program planning and execution using software analytics, resident input, and leadership feedback.
- Assist in ensuring effective and thoughtful allocation of departmental resources.
- Follow all California Title 22, RCFE licensing, safety, and operational requirements as directed.
- Immediately report any observed or suspected changes in a resident’s condition, safety concerns, or incidents to the Director of Experience & Lifestyle, in accordance with Title 22 reporting standards.
- Maintain professional boundaries, resident dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
- Foster positive, compliant working relationships with vendors and contractors in alignment with community standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on, hospitality-driven environment.
- Demonstrated creativity, strong organizational skills, and enthusiasm for engaging with an active adult population.
- Understanding of the social, emotional, and physical needs of older adults.
- Willingness to learn and adhere to California Title 22 and RCFE regulatory requirements.
- CPR/First Aid certification and Class B driver’s license preferred.
