Memory Care Personal Care Assistant/PCA

About the role

Join Benchmark at Mt Pleasant as a compassionate part-time PCA. Your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

Schedule

Shifts available: Friday through Monday; 7a-3p and 3p-11p.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Document care provided and report any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Utilize customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.
