Memory Care Director (LPN)

Position Summary

Primary Responsibilities

As the Memory Care Director, you will be a critical member of the leadership team overseeing the clinical operations of our Memory Care wing of our assisted living community. Your key duties will include:

• Supervising care and medication staff
• Ensuring the highest standard of care for our residents
• Maintaining open communication with residents, their families, and medical providers
• Working hands-on with residents, staff, and families to guide them through the dementia journey

Qualifications

• A valid and current nursing license in good standing
• Effective communication skills to connect with staff, residents, and their families
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to effectively resolve issues and find solutions
• A deep commitment to supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents
• Ability to be flexible
• A passion for nursing, with a focus on the nursing process of assessments, care planning, implementation, and evaluation of outcomes
• Desire to continually build knowledge and skill sets to enhance our memory care programming
• Basic computer skills to utilize EMARs, assessments, and care planning
