Responsibilities

• As the Memory Care Director, you will be a critical member of the leadership team overseeing the clinical operations of our Memory Care wing of our assisted living community.
• Your key duties will include supervising care and medication staff, ensuring the highest standard of care for our residents, and maintaining open communication with residents, their families, and medical providers.
• Hands on working with residents, staff and families to guide them through the dementia journey.

Qualifications

• A valid and current nursing license in good standing.
• An effective communicator who can connect with staff, residents, and their families.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to effectively resolve issues and find solutions.
• A deep commitment to supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.
• Ability to be flexible.
• A passion for nursing, with a focus on the nursing process of assessments, care planning, implementation, and evaluation of outcomes.
• Desire to continually build knowledge and skill sets to enhance our memory care programing.
• Basic computer skills to utilize EMARs, assessments, and care planning.
