About the role
As the Memory Care Director at Arbor Terrace Exton, you will oversee the daily operations of the Memory Care Neighborhood, ensuring the environment, programming, and care meet Arbor’s high standards for dementia care. This leadership role requires a passion for serving residents with dementia, strong communication skills, and the ability to train and coach staff on the latest care approaches.
Responsibilities
- Deliver competent and compassionate care to all residents in collaboration with the neighborhood’s clinical leader.
- Ensure adequate dementia training for all staff members.
- Maintain excellent employee retention through leadership and support.
- Align with Arbor standards for programming, dining, and environmental design.
- Plan and implement successful, engaging programming for residents.
- Foster strong resident and family relations with an unwavering focus on customer service.
Requirements
- Experience caring for residents with dementia (1 year minimum).
- Management experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and training abilities.
Preferred: LPN or RN licensure.
