Membership & Visitor Services Representative
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and
for prose. Do NOT repeat the job title as a heading. Do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short
or drop it. Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. IMPORTANT: include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it — never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g. "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD") and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones.
We need to parse the posting.
Content:
- About Denver Botanic Gardens: description of organization, mission, core values. This is about the organization, not role. Should we include as a section? Possibly "About the organization" but not listed as allowed headings. The allowed headings list includes "About the role". But we have "About Denver Botanic Gardens". Could we treat that as "About the role"? Not exactly. The instruction: use
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It says e.g., meaning examples, not limited to those? Probably we should stick to those headings where applicable. The posting includes "Position Summary", "General Duties and Responsibilities", "Position Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities", "Experience/Education". Also benefits described.
We need to decide sections: maybe "About the role" could contain position summary. "Responsibilities" could contain General Duties and Responsibilities. "Requirements" could contain Experience/Education? Or "Qualifications" could contain Knowledge, Skills and Abilities. "Skills" could be part of Qualifications. "Benefits" definitely present.
We should not create Pay or Schedule sections unless explicitly stated. There's no explicit pay or schedule info (though mentions flexible schedule, evenings, weekends, holidays). That's schedule info but not explicit schedule like "Monday-Friday 9-5". The instruction: never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. It does state schedule info: "Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and/or holidays." Also "Maintains regular admissions hours, as well as operate during special events, including evenings and weekends as necessary." That's schedule info. So we could include a Schedule section. However they said prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. Could combine schedule into Responsibilities or Qualifications? Might be better to have a Schedule section if there is specific content. But we need to avoid filler. The schedule info is specific: flexible schedule, evenings, weekends, holidays. That's substantive.
Similarly benefits: they list many benefits. So Benefits section.
Pay: not mentioned, so omit.
Thus sections: About the role (position summary), Responsibilities (general duties), Requirements (maybe experience/education), Qualifications (knowledge, skills, abilities), Benefits, Schedule.
But we need to avoid duplication. Let's extract each.
Position Summary: "This position provides a positive visitor experience through prompt, pleasant and courteous service. It processes transactions for items at Denver Botanic Gardens including, but not limited to, general admission, memberships, classes, events and tours. Oversees lost and found and wheelchair and stroller checkout. This position requires several forms of communication with the public, including but not limited to phone, computer and in person interactions."
General Duties and Responsibilities: a long list. We'll need to turn into - items.
Position Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: a list of abilities.
Experience/Education: "High school diploma / GED and/or combination of education and equivalent experience is required. Minimum of 1 years of experience in admissions in a museum/cultural environment or similar type organization preferred."
Also there is mention of remote work eligibility etc. That could be part of Responsibilities or Qualifications? It's about remote work eligibility. Might be included in Responsibilities? Could be part of Requirements? It's not a duty but a condition. Could be included in Responsibilities as a bullet? Might be considered part of "General Duties and Responsibilities"? It says "As with all positions at Denver Botanic Gardens, the incumbent must be in good performance standing to be eligible for remote work. Remote work is at the discretion of management at all times." That's a condition, not a duty. Could be placed under Requirements? Might be considered part of Qualifications? I'd include it under Requirements as a note.
Benefits: list.
Schedule: flexible schedule, evenings, weekends, holidays.
Now we need to output HTML fragment only, no /. Use
for headings. Use - for lists. Use
for prose.
We need to ensure we don't repeat job title as heading. Not needed.
We need to remove boilerplate like "Applications will be accepted through October 22, 2026 or until a candidate is found". That's application instruction; remove.
Also remove "For more information, visit us online at www.botanicgardens.org." That's maybe not boilerplate but could be considered navigation? It's a link; but it's substantive? Might be considered extra info but not required. The instruction: remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. The website link is not necessarily boilerplate but could be considered navigation. Safer to remove? It's not essential to the job. I'd remove it.
Also remove "Along With The Mission Of Bringing Plants To People, Our Core Values Are a Fundamental Driver Of The Gardens Culture. They Are: Sustainability...." That's about organization values; could be considered part of About the role? Might be considered boilerplate? It's substantive about organization culture. Could be included under About the role? But we have no heading for organization. Could we include it under About the role as prose? The About the role section could include summary of role and maybe organization context. But the instruction: use About the role heading for section headings. So we can put organization description under About the role as prose. That seems okay.
Thus About the role: include description of Denver Botanic Gardens (mission, core values) plus position summary.
Now Responsibilities: the General Duties and Responsibilities list.
Requirements: maybe combine Experience/Education and remote work eligibility.
Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities list.
Benefits: list.
Schedule: note about flexible schedule.
Now we need to ensure we don't create sections with filler. All have content.
Now format.

But note some items are duplicated: "Oversees lost and found and wheelchair and stroller checkout" appears twice (once in position summary, once in duties). We should keep only one instance? The instruction: preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. Duplicated lines: we should remove duplicated lines. So we need to deduplicate. The position summary already mentions oversees lost and found and wheelchair and stroller checkout. The duties list also includes that. We should keep only one occurrence. Let's keep it in duties maybe, but we need to avoid duplication. We'll remove duplicate from duties list.
Also "Maintains regular admissions hours, as well as operate during special events, including evenings and weekends as necessary." appears in duties and also schedule info. We'll keep in duties maybe, and schedule section can mention flexible schedule.
Now Requirements section: include experience/education and remote work eligibility.
