Membership Recruitment Specialist - Part Time (North)

Summary

Girl Scouts of Western Ohio seeks a Membership Recruitment Specialist for the North Region (Toledo) to engage the local community in Girl Scout activities and recruit new members.

Essential Functions

- Lead Girl Scout membership recruitment events for girls, caregivers, and other potential adult members at schools and community-based locations. - Educate caregivers and girls about Girl Scout opportunities and the value of the Girl Scout experience. - Recruit and register new Girl Scout troop volunteers, including educating potential volunteers about the troop leader role and the support available to new volunteers. - Assist caregivers in completing the online registration process and follow up with participants. - Collaborate with designated staff and volunteers to prepare for and hand off registration information.

Travel

This role involves regular travel to assigned recruitment events within a 30-mile radius using a personal vehicle, with mileage reimbursement eligibility.

Required Education and Experience

- High school diploma or equivalent. - Experience working with schools and community organizations preferred. - Experience presenting to groups and comfortable public speaking. - Familiarity with Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel. - Use of personal device and internet service for job functions.

Compensation & Benefits

The position pays $16.00 per hour and is not eligible for benefits.
