If you're passionate, professional, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the role for you. This position reports to the Club Director and is based at the Spence Eccles Club.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate membership records and database entries, process applications and renewals
  • Field inquiries from families and provide exceptional customer service
  • Help coordinate member events and meetings
  • Maintain office supplies and inventory
  • Assist with financial tasks such as invoicing and payment processing
  • Perform general clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry
  • Engage with young members, offering mentorship and support as they navigate their Club experience
  • Oversee the lobby and monitor the main entrance into the facility
  • Answer phones, communicate with parents and youth, and take payments
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

  • Some front desk, office, or customer service experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Docs, with the ability to learn new software tools as needed
  • Excellent organizational skills, with both electronic data and physical files
  • Ability to handle personal information with sensitivity and confidentiality
  • Ability to communicate effectively over the phone, in person, and over email
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a lively, energetic environment
  • Willingness to learn and implement Trauma-Informed Practices to help create an environment of safety, awareness, trust, and empathy with youth and fellow staff members
  • Willingness to develop and exemplify social-emotional competencies: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check, MVR check, and drug screening
  • Preferred: 21 years or older (to meet driving requirements), willing and able to drive 15-passenger vans
  • Preferred: Bilingual Spanish/English speaking
  • Preferred: 2 years of office and/or customer service experience
  • Preferred: 1 year of experience working with youth

Pay

$15–$17 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

25 hours per week. Monday–Thursday 1:45 pm–6:30 pm; Friday 12:30 pm–6:30 pm.
