Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed membership sales and revenue goals and sell ancillary services
  • Contribute to member retention and satisfaction by advising members and guests on programs
  • Provide legendary service and enhance sense of community within the club
  • Achieve and exceed individual membership sales goals by generating referrals, converting inquiries into appointments, and following up with and closing prospects
  • Adhere to and implement all steps of the sales process, including assessing needs, providing presentations, leading tours, presenting options, and closing sales
  • Integrate new members into personal training by attaching point of sale sessions and/or scheduling complimentary on-boarding sessions
  • Meet weekly and monthly goals and metrics as outlined in individual weekly tracking sheets
  • Meet with Membership Manager on a weekly basis to review activity
  • Develop leads through various activities, including telephone, internet, community outreach, partnerships, corporate visits, referrals, and special events
  • Utilize lead tracking system to manage prospect and member data
  • Ensure CRM calendar for next shift is updated and set up for success before ending each shift
  • Complete and submit all new member paperwork before leaving the club the day the member joins
  • Attend and participate in membership meetings, club meetings, member functions, outside marketing events, and promotions
  • Create and deepen relationships with members and enhance their sense of belonging and community within the club
  • Deal with member issues proactively, own member problems, and solve them within 24 hours
  • Be knowledgeable about job, company, and services, promotions, and business practices to provide consistent and accurate information
  • Contribute to effective and efficient running of day-to-day operations of clubs and company
  • Work as part of the team by respecting, supporting, and encouraging colleagues, assisting others, and approaching challenges creatively, positively, and team-centeredly
  • Maintain active and working knowledge of the company and all services and promotions
  • Be proficient in all club software systems
  • Attend all meetings, special events, and education sessions to learn and provide feedback and share ideas on improving and building all aspects of the business

Schedule

This is a full-time position. Your daily schedule will vary throughout the week depending on the needs of the club, the staff, and the members. Your hours will include prime time hours and some weekends and holidays. All members of the membership team will be required to work the last two days of the month. Special events, promotions, and other demands will require some early mornings and late nights.
