Member Solutions (Collections) Recovery Supervisor (may be remote from MD, PA, DE, WV, VA, FL, TX, IN, KY, NC)

About the role

The Member Solutions Recovery Supervisor oversees the daily activities of the Member Solutions (collections) recovery team, ensuring they effectively handle overdue accounts and meet recovery targets, particularly relative to bankruptcies, repossessions, and legal work. This role involves managing Ambassador performance, enforcing compliance with industry regulations, and supporting continuous improvement within the Member Solutions department. They also assist members and potential members in understanding and utilizing Credit Union products and services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily activities of the Member Solutions recovery team
• Ensure effective handling of overdue accounts and meeting recovery targets
• Manage Ambassador performance
• Enforce compliance with industry regulations
• Support continuous improvement within the Member Solutions department
• Assist members and potential members in understanding and utilizing Credit Union products and services

Requirements

• A minimum of seven years’ experience in a Member Solutions (collections) department, including working with bankruptcies and repossessions
• At least three years of supervisory experience
• A degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred
• Extensive knowledge of collection policies and procedures
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
