Responsibilities
- Meet members and guests upon arrival and departure, greeting them by name.
- Create and maintain member profiles and preferences.
- Coordinate itineraries, transportation, reservations, and activities for members, guests, and visitors with appropriate departments or vendors.
- Create and update a list of trusted local vendors, stores, and services to recommend to members and guests.
- Answer incoming club phones and transfer calls as needed.
- Create and provide reports for specific departments, including daily onsite activity and a 10-day forecast of visits and special requests.
- Create and update written communication and visual guides, such as calendars, amenity lists, staff listings, bios, and photos.
- Design invitations or fliers for club events and distribute them to members.
- Assist with planning and promoting club events.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to create exceptional experiences for prospects and visitors.
- Work with the General Manager and Public Relations team to promote positive experiences, including photography.
- Assist in the golf retail shop as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in hospitality, communications/marketing, or public relations preferred.
- At least 6 months of prior hospitality experience, customer service, and telephone experience.
- Outgoing, well-spoken personality with the ability to interact verbally with members and guests.
- Responsible, dependable, patient, and courteous with members, guests, and co-workers.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, and email; willingness to learn new computer programs.
- Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; long hours may be required due to business demands.
- Ability to work in a team environment and stay calm during busy periods.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
- Ability to meet physical demands, including working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing and walking for over eight hours, and lifting or carrying items over 50 pounds.
