Member Services Lead
About the role
John Newcombe Country Club, located in New Braunfels, TX, is seeking a full-time Member Services Lead to contribute to a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. This role is not your average front desk position and involves creating a new hospitality ethos centered around personalized service, luxury-level member interactions, community, and connection.
Responsibilities
- Greets and checks in members and guests
- Aids with court, fitness, and event registrations
- Navigates club offerings and technology for members
- Answers phones and assists with member inquiries
- Supports member and guest needs
- Communicates with departments regarding maintenance and janitorial issues
- Supports upcoming events and member engagement initiatives
- Assists with light administrative and operational tasks, including but not limited to: event setup, use of Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Word
- Maintains a polished, organized, luxury-style environment
- Aids with inventory, POS systems, and daily Front Desk procedures
- Supports staff across departments at the facility
Requirements
The ideal candidate has a background in hospitality, customer service, boutique fitness, hotels, restaurants, country clubs, guest relations, or luxury experiences and understands the importance of first impressions and personal connections.

- Experience in a similar role preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for the role
