Member Services Coordinator

This role will be located at Dune Deck Beach Club in Westhampton Beach, New York, and is available until September 30, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, welcoming environment to members and guests.
• Deliver exceptional service to members, guests, and team members.
• Initiate interaction with members, guests, and prospective members to obtain and disperse relevant information.
• Be knowledgeable of trusted local vendors, stores, and services to recommend to members and guests.
• Create itineraries and coordinate transportation needs, reservations, and activities for members, guests, and visitors with appropriate departments.
• Meet, guide, and assist members and guests upon arrival and departure.
• Create or provide reports and files related to the department, including daily reports on onsite activity and up-to-date 10-day forecasts of visits and special requests.
• Maintain knowledge of the member roster and keep up-to-date notes on preferences and pertinent information.
• Interact with other departments to meet member, guest, and prospective member requests.
• Coordinate hotel reservations as needed by the manager.
• Assist with kids' camp activities and other childcare requests.
• Filter dining requests through to the F&B managers and/or hostesses.
• Help plan and execute events as needed throughout the season.
• Promote activities and events advertised on the seasonal entertainment calendar.
• Coordinate live entertainment and vendors' arrival, setup, and departure.
• Answer phones and direct calls to the proper department.
• Communicate closely with residential services regarding check-ins and check-outs.
• Assist in hotel operations as needed, including cleanliness, amenities, repair requests, room service requests, and other duties assigned by leadership.
• Support scheduled activities through guest-assistance tasks such as welcoming attendees, assisting with schedules, or relaying requests to the appropriate department (not responsible for planning, organizing, or managing activities).

Requirements

• At least six (6) months of guest-service experience in a high-volume environment at a restaurant, resort, or private club.
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of and ability to operate computer and communication platforms.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to stay calm and focused during busy periods.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts greater than eight (8) hours.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to meet physical demands, including working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.
• Background check will be performed at the employer’s expense.

Benefits

• Pay Range: $25.00 - $30.00 USD per hour, based on experience.

• Optional housing offered through a separate rental company for those outside a commutable distance. Cost of housing and utilities, if accepted, is $100.00 - $150.00 per week for a shared room. Rent is paid directly to the rental company via electronic payment.
