Member Service Specialist - Hanover County - Ashland, VA

Location: Hanover County office in Ashland, VA. Non-exempt position reporting to the Agency Manager.

About the role

Full-time opportunity for a career-oriented, customer-focused individual to support the county insurance staff and promote Farm Bureau products and services.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance in the solicitation, processing, and servicing of insurance products
• Work with the County Board of Directors
• Promote Farm Bureau Bank
• Assist individuals and members with health insurance needs

Requirements

• Previous administrative support experience
• Outstanding technical skills, including MS Office applications
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
• Property & Casualty license (within 3 months of hire, paid for by company)
• Previous insurance experience preferred
• Outside/Inside sales experience a plus

Pay

$36,000 - $56,000 annually.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.
