Non-exempt position located in Henrico County (Glen Allen, VA) reporting to the Agency Manager.
About the role
The Member Service Specialist provides assistance to the county insurance staff in the solicitation, processing, and servicing of insurance products, works with the County Board of Directors, promotes Farm Bureau Bank, and assists members with health insurance needs.
Responsibilities
- Support county insurance staff in soliciting, processing, and servicing insurance products
- Collaborate with the County Board of Directors
- Promote Farm Bureau Bank
- Assist members with health insurance needs
Requirements
- Previous administrative support experience
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service orientation and positive attitude
- Property & Casualty license (must obtain within 6 months of hire; paid for by company)
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Previous insurance experience
- Outside or inside sales experience
Pay
$36,000 - $56,000 annually
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
