Member Service Representative (Teller)

About the role

Part-time position supporting members with financial transactions, delivering quality service, building professional relationships, providing account information and maintenance, and resolving or referring issues as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
• Sell money orders and VISA gift cards to members.
• Transfer amounts between member accounts as directed.
• Balance cash drawer and daily transactions.
• Identify members’ needs and promote and cross-sell credit union products and services.
• Welcome members and provide routine information concerning services.
• Direct members to the appropriate department for specific information and service.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks, including typing, filing, responding to emails, and answering the telephone.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday: 2:00 p.m. – 6:15 p.m.
• Saturdays: 8:45 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.
• Part-time employees are scheduled for 21 – 29 hours per week.
