About the role

We are seeking a Member Service Representative to join our team. This role involves assisting members with loan origination, account management, answering questions about products and services, and resolving problems. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of related experience, a two-year college degree or equivalent training, proficiency in Microsoft Suite products, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist members with loan origination, opening and closing accounts, answering questions about products and services and resolving problems.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, courteous, and professional service at all times.
  • Work directly with the underwriting department to step our members through the lending process.
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities for all credit union products that can best fit the member’s needs.
  • Accurately maintain member account information.

Requirements

  • Must maintain a professional, courteous, and friendly atmosphere for members and co-workers.
  • Must have very strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Qualifications

    • Has 1 to 3 years of related experience.
    • A two-year college degree or applicable specialized training.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of Products (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.).

    Schedule

    The schedule for this position is 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Limited Saturday hours are available from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, covered on a rotating basis. Overtime may be required for exceptional service, but we prioritize work-life balance.
