Essential Responsibilities
- Aid with inbound member telephone inquiries, aiming for first contact resolution within a timely and efficient timeframe.
- Resolve questions and assist members with inquiries such as general account questions, online banking support, credit and debit card inquiries, and transactions including loan payments and internal transfers.
- Provide education and assistance to members regarding other credit union products and services.
- Recommend products and services to enhance members' financial lives.
- Collaborate with internal team members through virtual channels to resolve inquiries and issues as necessary.
- Convey member feedback through appropriate channels for evaluation and addressing.
Education And Experience
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of six months of experience in customer service is required.
- Prior call center experience is preferred.
- Prior experience in a financial institution or related field is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Ability to learn and maintain proficiency in multiple computer systems including Microsoft Office products and Credit Union systems.
- Effective at working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task.
- Interpersonal and customer service skills to provide an exceptional member experience.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills to interact with both members and internal team members in a professional manner.
