Forest Area Federal Credit Union is growing and seeking a Full-time Member Services Representative for our Fife Lake location. Join a team that provides exceptional service to its members and offers great pay and exceptional benefits.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members courteously, professionally, and promptly, ensuring efficient and accurate transactions.
• Process share drafts/checks and cash deposits, verify amounts, examine endorsements, and enter deposits into computer records.
• Cash checks and process withdrawals after verifying signatures and member balances.
• Assist with mail or email transactions when available.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all credit union products, services, policies, procedures, and regulations, including robbery procedures.
• Promote, explain, and cross-sell credit union services such as loans, IRAs, certificates, safe deposit boxes, debit/credit cards, online banking, cashier’s checks, and money orders.
• Receive and process mortgage, consumer loan, and other payments, ensuring accuracy and generating member receipts.
• Process cash advances from credit cards, unemployment compensation, tax returns, and other sources.
• Place holds on accounts for uncollected funds.
• Count, check, and package coins and currency.
• Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift, research discrepancies, and report them to the supervisor as needed.
• Ensure the workstation is stocked with forms, supplies, and brochures.
• Check night depository bags and record information according to credit union procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
