Member Service Rep

About the role

Create a welcoming experience for members and guests from the moment they walk through our doors! The Saratoga Regional YMCA is seeking a friendly, motivated Member Service Representative to create a welcoming, positive, and inclusive experience for members and guests. This position maintains a supportive, positive atmosphere that welcomes and respects all individuals. You will respond to member and guest needs, promote memberships and programs, and help individuals and families feel informed, supported, and engaged. The role also includes custodial responsibilities, including maintaining the cleanliness and general maintenance of the facility, both inside and out.

• Perform custodial duties, including cleaning and general maintenance of the facility (inside and out)

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years old
• Previous customer service, sales, or related experience
• Prior cleaning experience preferred
• CPR and First Aid, child abuse prevention training, and Y orientation certifications required within 90 days of hire
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community
• Basic knowledge of computers
