About the Role

The Saratoga Regional YMCA is seeking a friendly, dependable, and service‑oriented Member Service Representative to create a supportive and positive environment that welcomes and respects all individuals. In this part‑time position you will assist members and guests, respond to questions and concerns, promote YMCA memberships, programs, and services, and help maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience for members and guests from the moment they walk through the doors.
• Assist members and guests with inquiries, concerns, and service needs.
• Promote YMCA memberships, programs, and services.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the facility both inside and outside the building.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Previous customer service, sales, or related experience.
• Prior cleaning experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid, child abuse prevention training, and Y‑orientation certifications required within 90 days of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups from all social and economic segments of the community.
• Basic knowledge of computers.

Pay

$17.48 per hour.

Schedule

Part‑time, 10–12 hours per week. Opening shift starts at 4:45 am; mid‑morning shift starts at 9 am. Flexibility to substitute on nights and weekends.
