Position Summary
Valley Country Club is seeking a motivated and hospitality-driven professional to join our team in a growth-focused role designed to develop future leaders in private club operations. This position is a hands-on learning opportunity for an individual interested in building a career in the private club industry.
Core Purpose of the Role
- Support the execution of exceptional member experiences
- Learn and assist in the operational rhythm of a private club
- Develop an understanding of hospitality-driven leadership
- Build foundational skills in event execution, service delivery, and member relations
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of club events and member programming
- Assist in day-to-day hospitality touchpoints across dining, pool, and social spaces
- Observe and participate in service delivery with a focus on consistency and personalization
- Identify opportunities to enhance guest and member experience
- Assist with club event planning and execution
- Support setup, flow, and service coordination for member functions
- Participate in post-event review and operational feedback
- Engage in seasonal operations including poolside hospitality
- Support service standards in outdoor and casual environments
- Learn the importance of experience continuity across all club settings
- Aid in shadowing leadership across departments including: Food & Beverage, Events, Membership Experience, Club Programming, and Service Operations
- Assist with execution of service standards and operational processes
- Develop understanding of how hospitality impacts: Member satisfaction, Retention, Recruitment
- Contribute ideas for enhancing member experience
- Support implementation of operational enhancements
- Participate in service evaluations and improvement initiatives
