Member of Nontechnical Staff, Operations

About the role

This role is for people who are highly conscientious and able to think creatively/outside the box; you should be comfortable with doing (or at least interested in learning about) everything from marketing to finance to GTM.

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of work experience in a technical or strategy role
• Exceptional conscientiousness and ownership
• Creative, resourceful problem-solving in the face of ambiguity
• Ability to move quickly in a zero-to-one environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in a top-5 consulting firm, or a similar generalist problem-solving environment (top-tier finance, high-growth startup ops)
• Experience at an early-stage startup, especially in a founding or first-operations-hire capacity
• Exposure to a technical or research-heavy domain
• Strong writing and communication, and the judgment to represent Quadrillion externally

We work in-person 5 days a week out of our office in Midtown Manhattan. Quadrillion Labs builds Qualia, an agentic research intelligence platform that does real computational research — running experiments, analyzing data, and surfacing insight for the people who do this work at the highest level. We're a team out of Stanford NLP, HRT, Citadel, Jane Street, Google Research, and Harvard Med, building for an audience that looks a lot like us. We've raised ~$18M from Conviction, Audacious, Bloomberg Beta, ex/ante, and angels including Wes McKinney, the creator of pandas. We're ~10 people in NYC, scaling to ~15 in the coming months. We think this is the Industrial Revolution moment for research, and we're building the team to define what comes next.

Pay

Compensation Range: $175K - $350K
