Member Experience Representative - Temporary (2026-017)

Benton REA is looking for a Temporary Member Experience Representative to join our team. This role involves balancing daily cash receipts, processing billing, and providing courteous service to members and the public in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Balance daily cash receipts
• Process billing and follow billing procedures
• Deliver exceptional customer service to members and the public
• Communicate professionally, both orally and in writing
• Manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously with strong organizational skills
• Solve member inquiries and challenges effectively

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Two (2) years of customer service experience
• Proficiency in general office tasks and computer peripherals
• Valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus
• Strong team player with an outgoing, adaptable, and flexible personality
• Prior banking or utility customer service experience
• Forward-thinking with a drive toward process improvement, efficiency, and excellence
• Strong technical aptitude

Schedule

4-10 work schedule, with every Friday off. This is a temporary position expected to last up to four (4) months.

Location

Benton REA has offices in West Richland and Prosser, WA. This position will primarily report to the headquarters in West Richland but may occasionally require travel to Prosser.

Temporary positions are not eligible for Association benefits and do not include a length-of-service or hours guarantee.
