Member Experience Representative- Floater

This full‑time frontline position serves members at the Greenbrier location, supporting the Highway 72 and County Line branches in Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Onboard members by opening new accounts and providing a relationship‑building experience.
• Assist members with loan requests.
• Handle financial transactions, including giving and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments.
• Process deposits and withdrawals, post credit‑card payments and balance transfers, receive debit‑card and check orders, etc.
• Provide information about products and services to meet members’ financial needs.
• Encourage members to utilize additional products and services offered by the credit union.
• Work in a fast‑paced environment with multiple priorities, requiring attention to detail.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service skills.
• Cash handling experience.
• Good computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products and web‑based applications.
• Ability to follow lengthy procedures for account opening.
• Ability to describe and sell products and services to members.
• Ability to shift focus efficiently in a fast‑paced setting.
• Desire to help others in the community.
• Preferred: one to three years of similar or related experience.
• Preferred: bilingual (Spanish) ability.
• Interpersonal skills: frequent personal contact for first‑level conflict resolution, relationship building, and soliciting cooperation; requires diplomacy, tact, confidentiality, and discretion.
• Physical requirements: sit, stand, walk, see, hear, reach; use gross and fine motor coordination for office machines, paper handling (counting cash, sorting/filling items, scanning, etc.); occasional lifting and carrying of incidental supplies.
