About The Position

As a Member Experience Officer, you will help identify opportunities to improve the member experience across communication channels, processes, projects, and platforms. This role partners across departments to develop solutions, support training needs, analyze feedback, and help ensure members and employees have consistent, effective, and positive experiences.

Position Type: Full-Time

Compensation Range: $28.00/hr. – $32.00/hr.

Location: On-site at our headquarters in Endwell, NY.

What You'll Do

  • Support and align Member Experience initiatives with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
  • Lead and support projects that improve the member and employee experience across the credit union.
  • Partner with departments on planning, testing, implementation, communication, and training for member-impacting projects.
  • Identify process improvements that reduce friction, improve consistency, and create more member-focused solutions.
  • Gather, review, and analyze member feedback and data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare updates, reports, and presentations for Member Experience leadership and senior leaders as needed.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and internal partners to support clear, effective member communications.
  • Provide departmental backup support and adapt to changing priorities, responsibilities, and expectations.

  • Projects are well organized, communicated timely, and completed with thoughtful input from key partners.
  • Member feedback and data are translated into practical recommendations that improve outcomes.

  • Training, communication, and implementation support help employees confidently deliver a stronger member experience.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree with 1–2 years of relevant experience; 3–5 years of related experience may be considered in place of a degree.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and standard office equipment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to change, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Detail-oriented approach with the ability to analyze information and recommend practical solutions.
  • Commitment to supporting a welcoming, inclusive environment and modeling Visions' mission and values.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a financial or related field.
  • Experience or knowledge of credit union or financial services processes, including member accounts, business accounts, share certificates, consumer lending, Regulation C, Regulation B, Regulation Z, and fair lending practices.
