Member Experience Officer (Clarksburg, MD)

About the role

Educational Systems FCU is seeking a Member Experience Officer to join our dynamic team. This position provides a variety of sales and service functions, manages branch operations, and supports membership and asset growth goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide information on all Credit Union services and effectively cross-sell products and services that meet member needs.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the branch in the absence of the Assistant Manager (where applicable) and Branch Manager.
• Participate in sales campaigns and community outreach events as determined by the Branch Manager.
• Create an exceptional experience for members, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
• Interact with members to understand their needs, resolve their concerns, and enhance their overall experience with the Credit Union.
• Ensure members have a positive and seamless experience.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years financial institution experience required.
• One (1) year supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience selling and cross-selling products or services in a financial institution.
• One (1) year experience in outside sales and/or business development preferred.
• Able to perform intermediate mathematical calculations.
• Able to communicate verbally and in writing effectively.
• Ability to function in a financial institution branch environment and utilize standard office equipment.
• Must complete process to become a notary within 6 months of employment.

• Strong service, operational, sales, and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work extended hours, at other branch locations, and support the Contact Center with call volume.
