About the Role
This role reports directly to the Executive Director of the MBC Alliance. The Member Engagement Manager plays an integral role in engaging representatives of member organizations (both nonprofit and industry) and individual patient/advocate members to encourage and ensure active participation of all stakeholders. In addition, this role is responsible for member communications, providing input into marketing collateral and coordination of the social media calendar.
This position is 100% remote.
Primary Responsibilities
- Member Engagement: Responsible for management of all membership activities, member profile/programs, data, tracking and reporting, including but not limited to:
- Membership Engagement Plan
- New Member Orientation
- Evaluation & Reporting of Member Engagement Data
- Member Communications and Content Creation
- Representation at Meetings & Conferences
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 4 years’ professional experience, preferably in a health, advocacy, or policy field
- Experience working in a nonprofit and membership organization strongly preferred
- Experience with database management, event operations, and logistics
- Experience with WordPress website and social media platforms management is a plus
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Excellent customer/stakeholder relations skills
- Strong time-management and organizational skills, with demonstrated attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in Constant Contact, Salesforce.com and Google Workspace is a plus
Additional Information
- Compensation and Benefits: This is a full-time exempt role. The salary range for this role is $55,000 – 68,000, with the final salary determination in this range dependent on factors including scope of professional experience and geographical location of the candidate. Our compensation package includes an exceptional benefits package focusing on employee physical, mental and financial wellness.
