Member Care Center Representative/Call Center Representative

About the role

As a part-time Member Care Center / Call Center Representative, you’ll serve as the voice of our credit union, delivering warm, professional service to members via phone, chat, and other inquiries. You’ll build positive relationships, troubleshoot account issues, and assist with basic banking tasks while educating members on our products and services.

Responsibilities

• Answer member inquiries via phone, chat, and other channels with courtesy and professionalism.
• Perform account maintenance, including processing withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, wires, and official checks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve member concerns with patience and problem-solving skills.
• Educate members on credit union products and services, quoting rates and terms as needed.
• Use a consultative approach to identify member needs and cross-sell financial products.
• Adhere to security practices and handle confidential information responsibly.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team member when necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of customer service experience.
• Strong computer and software aptitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Tactful, respectful, and self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• Commitment to handling confidential information responsibly.
• Enjoys helping people and prioritizing multiple tasks effectively.

Pay

Starting wage of $20/hour.

Schedule

Call center hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM, and Saturdays, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM. Shifts will be scheduled within these hours.
