📍 Lesvos, Greece 🕒 Full-time 📅 As soon as possible, or to be agreed upon in consultation Description The projects of Eurorelief are primarily led and operated by volunteers. International volunteers come from around the world to volunteer with Eurorelief, bringing hands-on hope to people in difficult circumstances. As a Member Care Team Member, you’ll support our volunteers by being there for them during their time on the island. Your role is to help create a supportive environment where volunteers feel cared for, can reflect on their experiences, and grow both personally and in their faith. Responsibilities Pick up volunteers from the port or airport and provide trainings and briefingsSupport spiritual and personal growth through regular check-ins and prayerLead team nights and plan community activities for volunteersDebrief volunteers at the end of their termBe a consistent and caring presence throughout their time of service Requirements Availability at least one yearSpiritually and emotionally mature, stable and flexible Strong relationship and communication skillsWillingness to be available odd hours to accommodate and support volunteers outside of campLeadership skills and experienceIdentification with the Christian values of Eurorelief (bonus if you have pastoral experience)Helpful if you can drive manual As with all Eurorelief roles, this is a volunteer position: applicants must be self-funded and should have a network of friends and supporters at their "home-base."
