Member Assist Cart Attendant
About the role
We are looking for people who take pride in their work to join our team. In the Member Assist – Cart Attendant role, you help shape our members’ entire shopping experience by providing a positive first and last impression. You will ensure members see a well-kept parking lot, assist with purchases, and keep carts ready and available. You’ll also help members load their vehicles and support creating a great member experience. This role requires constant movement and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Ensure club pickup orders are fulfilled by:
- Contacting members to notify them of pickup delays
- Informing members when products are unavailable and offering alternatives
- Selecting and packaging products according to company policies
- Dispensing items when members arrive for pickup
- Resolving member issues and concerns
- Promoting the company’s products and services
- Maintain facility safety by:
- Conducting safety sweeps
- Following procedures for handling merchandise
- Correcting and reporting unsafe situations to management
- Provide member service by:
- Acknowledging members and identifying their needs
- Assisting with purchasing decisions and processing transactions
- Handling payments for different membership and payment types
- Operating cash registers and locating/organizing merchandise
- Zoning designated areas and resolving member issues
- Promoting products and services
- Maintaining availability of carts/flatbeds and assisting with transport
- Using cart retrieval equipment according to company policies
- Keeping the parking lot clean
- Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting, and thanking members
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
- Complete work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers, coworkers, and members

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $24.00. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage for the job location. Additional premiums may apply in specific circumstances, ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
