Melt Deck-Foundry Worker

About the role

Lite Magnesium Products, Inc. location in Avon, OH is a magnesium and aluminum foundry producing sand castings for the wheel and brake industry for small aircraft and helicopters.

Responsibilities

• Melt magnesium and aluminum scrap and ingots
• Pour hot molten metal into the molds
• Clean the metal and melt deck
• Reload the furnaces and get the aluminum pots refilled at the end of the day
• Magnesium pots get refilled after each pour
• Pick up sand

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year in a manufacturing environment

Pay & Schedule

• Salary: $19.00/hr
• Full-time, 1st shift positions available
• Monday through Friday with an occasional Saturday
• 6am-2:30pm
