Megasys Bulk Gas Technician

In this role, you will be essential in ensuring the supply of chemicals and gases necessary for producing chips used in various electronic devices. As a MEGASYS® technician, you will work full-time with responsibilities that include 24/7 operations and periodic service calls. You will work with advanced gas and chemical blending equipment, chemical reprocessing, and life safety systems, ensuring compliance with all operational and maintenance procedures, as well as emergency preparedness protocols. Responsibilities
- Safe operation of assigned chemical and/or gas distribution systems.
- Handling and change-out of gas, chemical, and slurry containers.
- Gas and chemical equipment troubleshooting and preventative and repair maintenance.
- Computer operations to support job functions and customer needs.
- Support of quality systems.
- Adhering to site protocols and demonstrating a safety-conscious approach.
- Primary communication point to customer.
Physical Attributes
- 75% of time walking throughout the facility (3-5 miles per day).
- Climbing of ladders up to 12-foot-tall (utilizing fall protection).
- Basic lifting (up to 40lbs).
- Bending of the knees and overhead reaching.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of experience in a semiconductor, chemical, or other manufacturing setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or other technical discipline.
- Understanding of safe work practices and experience in lockout, tag out projects.
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Technical aptitude to identify parts needed for a replacement or repair.
- Ability to read flow transmitters, pressure transducers, understand units of measure, and use precision measuring equipment.
- Understand materials of construction and chemical compatibility.
- Awareness to identify unsafe work conditions and report them to management.
- Excellent teamwork and people skills.

Pay
Pay range for this position: $22–$34/hour. The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses.
Schedule
Technicians are scheduled onsite for 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays.
