Responsibilities
- Working closely with the National Sr. Meetings & Events Lead, Registration, manage end-to-end registration operations for the International Stroke Conference and 2 specialty conferences, including pre-event setup, onsite execution, and post-event reconciliation.
- Working with the registration vendor and several internal clients, this position provides all set-up information, including registration fees, ticket fees, all show items, etc., so that Maritz can configure the registration site.
- This position will review, preview, test, and maintain online registration, ensuring accuracy of registration categories, pricing, policies, and data fields.
- Oversee registration vendor customer service for assigned conferences and manage all escalations.
- Work with the Association's Customer Call Center to ensure they have all the information needed to respond to customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with conference planning, marketing, and communications teams to support registration timelines, promotions, and attendee communications.
- Coincide with registration vendor to process payments, refunds, discounts, and revenue reconciliation in accordance with the Association's financial policies.
- Develop and deliver registration reports and analytics, including attendance trends, demographics, and post-event metrics.
- Plan and manage onsite registration operations, including staffing plans, training, workflows, badge production, and attendee materials.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and the overall registration experience across specialty conferences.
- Support continuous improvement by documenting processes, best practices, and lessons learned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in event management, hospitality, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing conference or event registration, preferably in a nonprofit, association, or scientific meetings environment.
- Experience managing registration for multiple concurrent events or specialty conferences.
- Proficiency with event registration platforms (e.g., Maritz or similar systems).
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service, written, and verbal communication skills.
