About the Role

As a Sales Associate, you will help customers create a home they’ll love while building an exciting career. No prior furniture sales experience is required—we provide best-in-class training and ongoing support. Your contributions will help CITY HOME remain a top furniture retailer nationwide and a Top Workplace®.

Responsibilities

• Help guests design a home they’ll love
• Engage and present various home furnishings and service options
• Navigate large showrooms (equivalent to two football fields) and remain on your feet for extended periods
• Assist guests in finding the best financing options
• Prospect and manage customer accounts
• Create invoices and schedule deliveries
• Manage the CITY CRM system

Pay

This is a commission-driven position with uncapped earning potential. Average first-year earnings range from $65,000 to $80,000, with top performers earning $100,000 to $150,000 annually. Sales Associates also earn monthly, quarterly, and annual bonuses and participate in sales contests.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as part of a flexible, full-time (40-hour) schedule
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
• Comfort using an iPad for training, transactions, financing applications, and inventory checks
• Valid Florida driver’s license
• Ability to guide customers throughout large showrooms for extended periods (Associates have recorded over 15,000 steps in a single day)
