MedTech - Healthcare Collections Associate – Flex Support - Albuquerque, NM

About the role

Our MedTech Healthcare Collection Associate collects reprocessed medical equipment in hospitals, working with surgical, non-invasive, and vascular equipment in areas such as Operating Rooms and Sterile Processing Departments. This role offers a flexible Monday-through-Friday schedule with no evenings or weekends, supplemental income, and opportunities to grow within the medical device industry.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned hospitals to collect products designated for reprocessing.
• Package and ship collected products to the client manufacturing plant.
• Document and log daily collection totals.
• Notify the local Sales team of shipping supply needs.
• Use provided personal protective equipment (PPE) for all assignments.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted driver license.
• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable vehicle for transportation.
• Comfort with basic software programs and Microsoft operating systems.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs.
• Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements, including proof of vaccination status.
• Up-to-date immunizations as required by the position.

Travel

Local travel of up to 2–3 hours to support customer needs. Travel time and mileage are paid.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in healthcare, general labor, warehouse, or customer service.
• Ability to work independently in customer settings with minimal supervision.

Vaccine/Immunization/Hospital Credentialing Requirement

A required function of this job is entering healthcare facilities, which necessitates completing the facility credentialing process. Immunization requirements typically include:

• Measles, Mumps & Rubella vaccine.
• Varicella (chicken pox) vaccine.
• Negative Tuberculosis (TB) test.
• Tetanus, Diphtheria & Pertussis (Tdap) vaccine.
• Hepatitis B vaccine.
• Seasonal Influenza vaccine.
• COVID-19 vaccine primary series (some facilities require booster(s)).

Pay

The potential base pay range for this role is $25–$27 per hour. The actual base pay offered may vary based on job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, experience, location, and schedule (full or part-time).
