MedTech - Healthcare Collections Associate – Float Support - Minneapolis, MN

About the role

The MedTech Healthcare Collections Associate will visit hospitals to collect reprocessed medical equipment, package and ship it to a client manufacturing plant, document collections, and notify the sales team of shipping needs. This role may also require occasional national travel to cover for other technicians.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned hospitals as required to collect products to be reprocessed
• Pack and ship collected products to the client manufacturing plant
• Document and log daily collections totals
• Notify the local Sales team of shipping supply needs

Requirements

• An active and unrestricted driver license is required
• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
• Reliable vehicle for transportation
• Comfortable with basic software programs and Microsoft operating system
• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs
• Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements, including proof of vaccination status

Travel Requirement

• May require national travel to provide coverage for other technicians
• Should be located near a major airport
• Willingness to travel on short notice
• Respond to and arrive at customer sites within the service ticket’s Service Level Agreement (within 4 hours, 8 hours, 12 hours, or 24 hours per the details of each ticket)

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in healthcare, general labor, warehouse or customer service
• Ability to work independently in customer settings with minimal supervision

Schedule

You will have a flexible schedule Monday thru Friday - No evenings/No Weekends on local assignments and an opportunity to grow and expand into new opportunities while earning supplemental income and learning about the medical device industry.

Pay

The potential base pay range for this role is $25 per hour. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
