Responsibilities MedSurg RNs deliver bedside care to a diverse patient population, conducting individualized assessments to develop personalized care plans. They prepare medical equipment and assist physicians during examinations and treatments. Key duties include: Preparing, administering, and documenting prescribed medicationsMonitoring patients for adverse symptoms and initiating alternative actions when neededChanging dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs as required Qualifications & Skills: Strong assessment skills, clinical proficiency in medication administration, wound care, and invasive procedures. Ability to respond promptly to patient needs and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.
