Responsibilities MedSurg RNs provide bedside care for a diverse patient population, conducting individualized assessments to develop personalized care plans. They prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations and treatments. Key duties include: Preparing, administering, and documenting prescribed medicationsIdentifying adverse symptoms and initiating appropriate interventionsChanging dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs as needed Qualifications & Skills Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilitiesProficiency in medication administration and patient care proceduresAbility to respond promptly to patient needs and adverse symptomsExcellent communication and teamwork skills
