About the Role

As a Caregiver, you’ll provide personalized care and support to a small group of residents (typically 10–12), helping with daily activities, companionship, and emotional support. You’ll be a vital part of their day, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and cared for. This role is ideal for growing your healthcare skills while continuing your education.

Responsibilities

• Act as a patient advocate by assisting nursing staff with direct patient care and responding to resident needs.
• Manage medications, transcribe doctor's orders, and monitor for drug interactions.
• Handle administrative tasks, including ordering medications and supplies, and communicating with doctors and families.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and leadership by reporting discrepancies to the Director of Nursing.
• Take and record residents' vitals and assist in resident care emergencies as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR certified, Food Handlers’ certificate.
• CNA/HCA certification.
• One (1) year of experience preferred.

Pay

$19.50–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience.
