Responsibilities
- Be a Patient Advocate: Actively assist nursing staff with direct patient care and respond to resident needs.
- Ensure Accuracy & Safety: Meticulously manage medications, transcribe doctor's orders, and monitor for drug interactions.
- Keep Things Running Smoothly: Handle crucial administrative tasks, including ordering medications and supplies, and communicating with doctors and families.
- Collaborate and Report: Partner with nursing staff and leadership by reporting any discrepancies to the Director of Nursing.
- Monitor Vitals: Take and record residents' vitals and assist in resident care emergencies as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- CPR certified
- Food handlers’ certificate
- CNA/HCA certified
- One (1) year experience, preferred
