Pay
- Base Pay: $24.65 - $27.82 per hour
- Shift Differentials: +$1.75 per hour for Night Shift, +$1.50 per hour for Weekend
- Rotation Schedule: 3-week cycle, specific week determined by start date
Responsibilities
- Accurately manage and administer medications and treatments
- Document medication administration, effectiveness, and any side effects
- Protect residents' rights and ensure confidentiality
- Transcribe new or changed orders into the electronic health record MAR
- Maintain secure storage and accountability for all medications
- Ensure appropriate and timely reporting of any change in condition
- Order all new and renewal medications
- Assist with information gathering and documentation for incidents
- Follow all safety, infection control, and emergency procedures
- Perform CNA job duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Active WA State Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC) with minimum six months work experience
- Active status on OBRA Registry
- High School Diploma or GED
- Successful completion of Nurse Delegation Core Training
- Successful completion of Nurse Delegation with a Focus on Diabetes Management
- Effective reading, writing, and communication in English
- Proficient with using computers and software, EMR experience required
- CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days from date of hire
- Food Handler's permit within 14 days from date of hire
- Completion of DSHS Dementia and Mental Health training within 90 days from date of hire
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Remarkable communication skills
