Medication Technician - Full-Time Days

Responsibilities

• Administer Medications: Safely provide medications according to physician orders and residents’ care plans.
• Maintain Accurate Records: Document medication administration clearly and correctly.
• Monitor Well-Being: Observe residents for changes, side effects, or concerns and report them promptly.
• Support Daily Living: Assist residents with personal needs while protecting their dignity and independence.
• Build Connections: Develop meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Create a Positive Environment: Bring compassion, patience, and positive energy to each shift.

Requirements

• Required Credentials: Meet all Maryland requirements to administer medications in an assisted living setting.
• Attention to Detail: Follow medication procedures carefully and maintain accurate documentation.
• Communication Skills: Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, families, and team members.
• Basic Computer Skills: Comfort using electronic systems for medication tracking and documentation.
• Heart for Seniors: A genuine interest in helping older adults live their best lives.
• Dependability: Be reliable and available for the assigned day shift, including every other weekend and scheduled holidays as needed.

Schedule

Full-Time | Day Shift | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Availability Needed
