Medication Technician/CNA

About the role

Beaver Dam Health Care Center is seeking compassionate Medication Technicians to support our residents. Positions are available for full-time, part-time, and casual schedules.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patients' basic hygiene needs are met through bathing, shaving, and dressing.
• Help patients use the bathroom.
• Prepare meals and feed patients.
• Aid patients with mobility issues by lifting, moving, or pushing wheelchairs.
• Change bedsheets for patients.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the patient's environment.
• Monitor patients' recovery or general wellbeing and report findings to the registered nurse.
• Prepare patients for examinations or procedures.

Requirements

• A high school qualification or equivalent.
• Certification as a Medication Technician.
• Certified Nursing Assistant training from an Accredited School of Nursing.
• Physical strength to lift patients.
• Excellent communication skills.

Pay

Competitive wages are offered based on shift type (AM, PM, NOC).
