Medication Technician/C.N.A (MA-C) - Skilled Nursing

About the Role

The Medication Technician/C.N.A will assist licensed nursing staff by preparing and administering daily medications as ordered by the physician. The Med Tech will document within limitations in the electronic health record under the supervision of the licensed nurse and respond to resident requests and other direct care duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid and active C.N.A license in good standing in the state of Arkansas
• Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program
• Successful completion of state-approved Medication Administration and hold medication aide certification
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Minimum of one year of healthcare industry experience desired
